This project united Colombians who emigrate due to several reasons. Every person who participated had his or her own reasons for leaving, not always by choice. Through this project, Edwin Gil demonstrates unity and solidarity among Colombians worldwide through the collection of handprints in yellow, blue, and red, the colors of the Colombian flag. Every handprint represents a story, a journey, that led each person to where he/she is today, but no matter where they are in the world, they will never forget their roots. Read more
